Hey, I fell for it for a minute. Then I remembered Les Paul being an influence then.......not from GA.
Well I'm 24 so there is still only so much I know. I was never a huge Miller fan so I never did the research. I just always assumed because of the "peaches" reference. Guess he was just a dirty man.I like a lot of older music though, especially from 60's and 70's. I'm an old soul. I was born into the wrong generation.

Miller did some good stuff I like. And, some I didn't. I like the old soul part. Good appreciation of the bands before. I'm a really old guy who has always been into music in some fashion. BTW, Greg and Duane were born in Nashville so TN gets some credit for the brothers.
Hey, Peach. Here's a thread you might like to wander through sometime. I put some Allman Brothers in it last night. You get to see the musical tastes of people here and share yours. Sometimes, you'll discover someone you like that you've never heard of.

Thanks! I have actually started a couple of threads in the Music and Movies section. I started a debate over the Beatles and Stones though it didn't get quite as much traction as I had hoped.
Me neither. Some of the old bands are still touring with less than a couple of original members. Some still sound good, but it's still not the original. Skynyrd is a good example. That band died, in my mind, with Ronnie.
I went to see Bob Dylan in 2011. It was birthday gift from my dad and I love him for it, but Dylan needs to let it go. I was really kicking myself for not being around during that time because now he just sounds rough. I also saw the Doors at Music Midtown when there still was one, along with Journey, and both had impressive lead singers. But it just isn't the same. I can't really get into that. Just like I can't get into remade films, though 3:10 to Yuma and True Grit were awesome.
