Broadcast noted Wright was playing because the top 3 backs were hurt.

1) Whitehead was hurt? Did he play.

2) Will any of the 3 be ready next week?

My beef with the defense is the same with offense. I cant fathom the thought that Beckwith is so bad that he can't get time when 3 backs are injured. If hes that bad, tell him to transfer, now. Im afraid some kids are going to transfer out before we find out if they can actually play.

How can fans worry about this? I trust the coaches in making those decisions.

We've really found out you need quality depth everywhere including RB. I was proud of the way Wright ran last night but we really only have two reliable and consistent RBs right now. The 5-star Brown was a big decommit last year because he was a big back. It would've been nice to have Chandler in this offense.

Evans might be the only one that has enough size to be an effective pass blocker, and possibly Whitehead.

I would trade ALL of Tennessee's RBs for those two @kentucky.

Those boys ran HARD (even Jeremy banks was scared to hit/tackle them sometimes) and ALWAYS fell FORWARD.

I think Rodriguez is the toughest back in the league.

Maybe not the best or most elusive but...like you say....he runs hard and always moves forward.

Smoke was very impressive last night as well.

And so many were glad to see Chandler leave. I wanted him to stay more than I wanted gray to stay. We could use really use chandler

I heard that he only cares when he has the ball in his hands and that he hasn’t exactly learned the offense/pass pro

It’s a high ankle sprain. He’ll get over it eventually

The problem with high ankle sprains is they take FOREVER to heal. I had one my senior year in high school and missed 2 games. The doctors wanted me out longer but I got them to agree to let me play. The problem was I couldn't play with as high of a motor or with reckless abandon like I wanted to. It is really a very nagging injury.

I would sit him vs GA then. Heal him up for the home stretch.

I think he is close to healing. He got banged up last night but probably could've come back. They decided to rest him, and I think he will take very few full speed reps in practice this week. Georgia will be a physical test on any back but we have to have him against UGA with Small still nursing a shoulder injury.
