Thanks for the info Grateful Vol. Per ESPN:
Lacey may not be overly flashy, but he is a productive downhill running back prospect with the physical tools and upside to continue racking up yards at the next level. Great body structure to develop into high-carry college back with his strong, thickly-built frame, particularly through his hips and lower-body, and room for added bulk. Hits the hole with good patience and vision but can reach top-speed quickly when he finds a north-south seam. Shows good foot-quickness and body control making subtle cuts through traffic without losing much in transition. Flashes good jump-cut skill to avoid the initial traffic and the lateral speed to bounce it outside and turn the corner. Earns impressive yards after contact with his great balance, low center of gravity and body-tilt. Shoulders square up quickly out of cuts for added running power. Does not stop his feet on contact; drags the pile with great lower-body strength and finishes runs. However, he shows good but not great burst when he finds an open seam, more of a one-speed back and lacks the extra gear possessed by some of the elite runners in this class. Competitive speed in the second level but does not project to be a breakaway threat as a college back. Lacks good suddenness through the hole and tends to gear down a bit when cutting. Would like to see him become more decisive as an in-line runner. Overall, Lacey should continue to physically develop into a productive, 215-pound, downhill back in college with the strength to wear down a defense and the shiftiness to remain durable between the tackles. Great upside at the position.

Notes
2007: Rushed for 1,800 yards. Benches 315... 34-inch vertical...

He looks great...but I can't help but wonder how many RBs we really need. Shouldn't we be trying to get more Dlinemen, or LBs? He's a great alternative to Oku, though

I would love to get Lacy. He seems like my kind of RB. Big, strong, fast, good vision, and agile...

Maybe the next Arian Foster? Sounds a lot like him. Maybe Giles/Lacy can be Foster/Coker (of course, if they're healthy and stay off drugs). Have Lacy north/south and Giles runs east/west. Thunder and Lighting

lacy video excites me looks impossible to take down and in a recent article says he is up to 6' 225 pounds from 5'11 200 grades are the reason lsu n miami are not offering him but if they do his top 3 could change i like this kid over oku but i take either

Wow, this kid is ranked even higher in the Rivals100 than Oku. who knew? Let's get him. Maybe we can get 4* RBs and CBs to play DLine

When you got a kid who can turn a 3 yd play into a 10 plus yd play, that's awesome! BUT if he can't stay on the field or never even get there, there is a problem. Hit the books dude, you have a future!

HV is this class Oku or bust or do you think if we miss on Oku we go hard after Lacy? Both backs look good to me but I think if Lacy had better grades he would be the better option, he just seem more like the prototypical type running back for our system.

We are still recruiting oku, but quite a few people say we have dropped.

What do you think Rex, do you think we will go after Lacy if we dont get Oku or if we back off of him? Or do you think the coaches are satisfied with what we have in Giles and will look to fill other positions?
