You're absolutely crazy if you think Coker is our 3rd best back behind Hardesty. Same goes if you think it's that obvious that Foster is our best back. I guess you've forgotten how Coker made any sort of running game we had last year.
What has Coker done? He's got 10 touches for 80 yards and a touchdown. That's 8 yards per touch. Soooo....your point?
Anyone is going to run well with the way our offensive line is running. Boasting about Foster's 3 tds is like boasting about Jerome Bettis getting all of the TD's two years ago after Willie Parker ran them inside the 5.
Don't get me wrong, Foster has played well and he's a good runningback, but keep in mind the costly fumbles he's had that have single handily cost us a few games.

I'll ride my "4 play wonder" like you'll continue to forget about the 2 huge games Foster has cost us. I'm an Arian Foster fan, but just because he's having a good game today when EVERYONE on our team is having a good game, doesn't make him better than he is.
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all be millionaires......You're using injuries, which tend to happen quite often with Foster and Hardesty, as an excuse last year while Coker was averaging 6.4 per carry to Foster's 3.6, is pathetic. I could easily blame Coker's suspension and personal matters on why he isn't starting this year, but I guess that would be different eh? When Foster got healthy last year, he didn't reclaim his job after Coker ran with it.
Try to spin 6.4 per carry and 700 yards in 9 games as "negative" any way you want, but it isn't going to work.
If 6.4 is ineffective, what is 3.5? LOL!!! Think about that before responding.
There are plenty of players that are "our best" that aren't starting for one reason or another. That happens with every team and it's no different with us.
ANd a 56 yards TD catch on a trick play is what inflated those numbers...Rushing hes 9 for 24...less than 3 per touch
I'm a one hit wonder lover? haha.....what?
If I'm a one hit wonder lover, you're a game changing fumbler lover. Because as many as "one hit wonders" as Coker has given us, Foster has given us with his untimely mistakes.
Again, realize that you're arguing against someone that argued with several people on here at the start of the season IN DEFENSE of Arian Foster......please stop trying to win an argument that doesn't involve winning and losing.
Speaking of the yards that Coker got against a few teams last year, what about all of the yards that Foster accumulated against just a few opponents in 2005?
What has he reeeeeeeeeeeeally done that is so great? He hasn't been consistent, he's cost us more games than he's won for us, and he hasn't stood out amongst a crowd at any point other than 2005. At least as a "one hit wonder" in Coker has given the defense something to think about and has made big plays while we're constantly worrying when Foster is going to fumble next.
So? Suddenly big plays don't count? LOL! I guess they should strip Reggie Bush of the Heisman Trophy and take away everything Erik Ainge did last year considering Meachem made several plays himself from short passes right?
Be excited for Foster. I'm excited for Foster. But he's shown to have ability and I spent a whole thread arguing in his defense before the season started if you care to go dig it up. However, he's screwed us a few times and just because he's having a good game doesn't mean you can boast as if he's been doing this week in and week out and it's obvious that he's the best back because that isn't so.
Rather or not he's the best back is pointless when we're using 3 every game. But trying to downplay what another player has done just to try to support your case is stupid.
Told you Foster haters that Foster was our best back. Coker hasn't done crap this game. Foster has 3 TD's. Coker maybe fast, but power makes up for Foster's lack of agility. Coker is our 3rd best back with Hardesty healthy. Coker needs to be a WR, IMO. We can utilize him better that way.

lack of agility? foster looks pretty agile to me. coker doesn't need to be a receiver. we have 2, 3, maybe 4 good running backs. last game coker was best, this game foster was on. no need to debate.
