I have found the idiots of the SEC. Just got back from my moving to Murfreesboro, TN. While I was there, we ended up going to see my grandma in Little Rock. ON the way back to Tennessee, which is a couple hours of nothing, I found a sports channel on the radio.

They made fun of our coaches obesity. They predict that they will win the last game of the season against LSU, matter fact, his exact words were "I think we will win the last dog gone game there." And, one of them made a remark that he is not racist, because he has several color TVs. And they ended up arguing about politics.

I was convinced Bama had the dumbest fans. I now know and share my knowledge with the people of Volnation. Arkansas fans have the moron title.

I found the Razorback fans to be among the best I have met. Ive been to several games there and they treated my and my friends the best of any team we played.

I want to warn you against calling any fans dumber than bammers. It reflects badly on you.

I have only been to Fayetteville once but that is enough for me. The fans were worse than Florida, LSU, South Carolina or any of the other away games I have been to. I will not be going back, though I love the scenery of northwest Arkansas (grandparents lived in Bella Vista for many years). Admittedly, I may have just run into and sat near some poor fans, every team has them.

Ive been to games in Fville and Littel Rock and had a great time at both. Fans talked but it was not out of line.

gator fans throw piss filled cups, LSU fans throw what ever then can get and bammers just want to start a fight with anyone wearing Orange. Arky fans were cool to me every time I've been.

I've only been to F'ville once but my experience was fine. Certainly better than my trips to Gainesville, Columbia, Athens, etc.

Since moving to Little Rock AR from Warner Robins GA I realized the fans have nothing else to cheer for here no other teams except the Travelers and a Areana football team but i have met a mixture a mixture of both good and bad. They are very proud of the Razorbacks and each year is going to be there year except this year but the radio stations suck

I have been to games in Fayettville and LR. I have no problems with the UAF fans or my expereince at either game.

But I agree they are the biggest morons on the planet. They have successfully run off the best HC and OC they could have possibly wished for each of the last two years.

i've lived in arkansas since 1975, and watched the local fan's attitude evolve. when i got here, arkansas and tennessee had only played twice, but the 71 liberty bowl left a bad taste in the hog fan's mouths. other than that, the vols had about as much relevance as oregon state. the 90 cotton bowl stuck in their craw even more as they were sure they had the better team. then came consolidation. it started off pleasingly enough for them (the 92 upset in k-town), but phil's 10-2 record since has really fried their arses. the combination of orange & white and the letters U.T. awake memories of their thorough domination by texas. i was really sorry to see the annual game ended (for what i admit are selfish reasons), but not playing the vols regularly has not diminished the hog's hatred one iota. go vols!

Me, my broother, and our friends broke down in Arkansas last Oct on our way back to Murfreesboro, TN. We were stuck on the side of the highway for 2 hours and not one person stopped to help. One driver pulled over about 60 yards ahead of us. We walked to his van and he took off as soon as we got close. I have hated the people from Arkansas ever since. :cray:

Florida was as expected, some trash talking walking to the stadium (we won in 01 and 03 so no talking after the game). LSU, I was these for an Ole Miss game and an Arky game but I was there with LSU people so I didn't have to deal with any trash talking, just lots of alcohol and food, lol.

Columbia was fine. Next to no trash talking from USCe fans and some of them even shook my hand and congratulated us on the win.

We went for the 2006 game as well and it just seemed that they weren't use to winning recently and didn't know how to handle the success that DMac and Jones and the Wildcat offense had brought them. Plus it was probably the coldest game I have been to AND we obviously got our ass handed to us.

I've never had such a nice experience. I live around these crazies all year, though, so I hear their crap year round.

I'm not sure what you seek in a town, but I live in Fayetteville and my family and I love it.

I'm going to venture that there is plenty here beyond football, but that you might not recognize it on a weekend junket to a football game.

couldn't agree more, and that is from a native east tennessean, born and bred. n.w. arkansas reminds me of what my home county was like in the 60s. to be sure, there are things about fayetteville that are rinky-dink and downright tacky, but all in all, its a wonderful place. (p.s.: been here 33 years).

Dickson street is nice and boy has it changed in just the several years in which I have been gone. The only common theme being Jose's which is a Dickson landmark. We do not fight you over football like bammer fans nor are rude like gator fans. We love us some razorbacks and since we do not have a professional sports team that is all we have.

Stop the hate and appreciate--- cause football season is upon us.... WPS!!!!
