Raynoch speaks and isn't happy

At this point in our program the most important thing we can do is maintain continuity. What part of a top 12 recruiting class do folks not understand? Dooley - Sirmon - Bagget have done a tremendous job on the trail. I have read posts where people are *****ing about our potential players - what have they done in college. This is beyond ridiculous.
The fire Dooley crowd needs to quit the mule bleating. This crap about how Dooley has lost his team is ridiculous. Tyler Bray had a horrible game. The entire offense had a horrible game. 2-3 different plays go our way and no one would be *****ing today about a new coach but instead looking at a bowl game.
People also need to understand that UK is not the same team that sucked so bad at the beginning of the year. Their defense played the best they have all year - against our horrible offense. This UK team played GA damn tough. **** happens. But to fire Dooley at this point would be absolutely foolish.

The only thing I agree with Dooley on is this team didnt deserve a bowl game.

Also, losing to KY is beyond **** happens, especially when that same KY team is starting a WR at QB for the first time in his college career.

You should know me better than that.

Dooley is never going to win at a championship level. Sumlin has the chance to, if he's given an opportunity. All he's done is been parts of winning programs everywhere he's been. The guy has worked for some of the best coaches around and moved up at each stop.

Letting Dooley continue on here only delays the inevitable.

I don't disagree with any of that, justin. I do think allowing Dooley to haul in another nice recruiting class and fire him next year is the better option. We're a more attractive option, at least in my opinion.

If we did fire him (which we won't anyways), I want Bret Bielema.
I'm a little skeptical bout Bielema. Wisconsin seems to win by being bigger than the rest of their opponents. I'm not sold that would work well in the SEC.

Next year, with a healthy Bray, Hunter and Da'Rick, Tennessee will win in spite of stupid ass false starts, terrible special teams and a non existent run game. This will allow Dooley to hang around.

Nip it in the bud now.

LSU and Alabama do it
LSU and Alabama have a bunch of speed. Wisconsin is just big and playing in a conference with a bunch of other slow teams.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he would suck, but I would be a little skeptical about him. Of course, it would really come down to how he recruits.

Eh, recruiting Georgia, Florida and the rest of the south means the speed is pretty much a given. Bielema's seems to be a good enough coach to figure that out. However, the Montee Balls of the world would make Poole look fast in the SEC.

I'm not sure that is enough to get us where we need to be. Injuries notwitstanding, the entire team regressed and the coaching staff seems more interested in creating excuses rather than coaching these kids up. The youth and depth excuses only go so far.

Bullcrap. There is a difference between firing somebody after only two years of trying to fix a disaster, and being left for a dream job. It was so late in the process those kids didn't have a lot of options left, especially the ones who were EEs. You fire DD now showing what a bunch of quick trigger, unfaithful idiots Vols are, and it will get UGLY in recruiting. All of the best commits we have now, and there are some realllllly good ones because DD is doing a really good job in recruiting, have other really good options. You fire Dooley idiots are going to be the death of this program. I hope that the people who actually matter have more sense than this $**t.

Good thing he can recruit because he damn sure cant motivate

What concerns me is Wisconsin still doesn't appear to be recruiting at a very high level.

He's got a top 30 class in freakin Wisconsin, and all the good midwest players go to UM, OSU, or formerly Penn State.

We lose this years recruiting class, and the inevitable attrition that would accompany a firing. Get ready to lose the last meaningful record we co-hold with Ohio st. You people are stupid beyond belief if you think this as bad as it could get. This teams greatest weakness is not coaching, it is depth and immaturity. That problem only gets worse with a change. Much worse.

you keep telling yourself that. This coaching staff is clueless and the calls on field backs that up.Look at 1st and goal and then you bring in the wildcat formation that never works,Thats coaching.

That's it. I'm sure it has nothing to do with seeing UT become the laughing stock of the SEC.

You ought to know--your idiot Fulmer has been taking UT to this point since 2006--Kiffin finished up the hack job--and CDD is left to pay the check...

And, he's beating most of the teams outrecruiting him in the Big 10. I'd be comfortable hiring Bielema and him recruiting with our facilities and recruiting budget.

A top 30 class after what will very possibly be his second conference title and Rose Bowl appearance isn't that encouraging.

I believe they were 40th (according to rivals) last year.

He'd have to hire a couple stud recruiters (every coach does), but I think he could do it. JMO.

It's Wisconsin. That's a ****ty state for D1 players.

I'm probably making a bigger deal about it than I should. Tennessee has never really had problems recruiting, anyways. Still, I do find it a little concerning that someone who may win his second consecutive major conference title could get out-recruited by Vanderbilt and Pedophile State in their current situation.

Pedophile State U. is going to get hit hard in recruiting. The fallout from that debacle hasn't even started to hit yet and when it does, they will be lucky to be a Top 50 recruiting class.

Still so much gross understanding of what the head coach of a major football program actually does. Players dont respond to him? A head coach is a CEO. You think the players at Alabama love Saban's personality. You think they 'play for him' out there? He does lots of things exceptionally well. There will be staff changes. And he MUST improve the coaching the players get from the assistants. If they happens he has assembled a great organization in the program and has added lots of talent. The staff changes combined with the way we play next year with a healthy roster will determine Dooley's future. Not knee jerk reactions after an embarrasing loss.
