I gave him a six, because I do not see him as our head coach, but credit him for being a real football coach and a very good DC.

Gonna go with a 5 because I’m trying to remain neutral and see what his staff looks like. Plus, I’m beyond apathetic at this point and I’m looking for anything to pull me out of it.

I have it a 7 with the potential to fall to a 3 or rise to a 10... only time will tell.. I do give him credit for keeping us out of the dumpster fire news all week

gave it a 4 because unlike Butch Jones and Dooley, Pruitt does have a high ceiling. Hate the Alabama in him...he will smell

I gave a 7 with the same reasoning

If he turns up with Lupoi AND Martin (which I don't expect to happen)......that would go up to a 9 for me.

If they had ANY on field success no team in the country would out recruit them. Not saying they would instantly take away Bama's recruits......but the 3 would be better than prob any other "all star" type 3 you could put together.

One. Alabama graduate and therefore incompetent moron. Reputation largely-earned off a defense that has been micromanaged by the head coach. Butch-slapped when not under Daddy's protection.

Comes with Saban's recommendation. So too did Derek Dooley.

I wonder if Pruitt would've had a lower Wolderlic score than Tee? It's a shame we'll never find out. He strikes me as a complete moron. A good motivator, hard worker and recruiter, yes, but a complete moron. He's worked with elite talent every stop he's made. We have no idea if he's a guy who can develop talent and manage a team. I'll be really curious about the guys he brings in. And my god if he fires Rock and we have to go through another S&C guy, we are ****ed.

I rated 4 and anyone saying 7 or above is fooling themselves. His body of work isn't there but if he brings in some good assistants, namely Lapoi then could see the hire being a 6/10. I am really worried about who this guy brings in on the offensive side. Could be a disaster there but maybe he's more respected in coaching circles than I think. He's worked under some really good coaches, Jimbo, Saban & Richt. Hopefully some of their magic rubbed off on him.

The best and worst thing about Pruitt is he is from Bama. I will rate the hire in a couple of years.

Just because there aren’t reports of Fulmer talking to bigger names doesn’t mean he didn’t kick the tires of their agents. Most agents are shared anyways
