Our beloved Fulmer is a notch or two above the bottom four I listed and is close to Richt, Miles & Tubbs. All four have more balls then Phil that's why I list them ahead of him. The top four: Meyer, Petrino, Saban, Spurrier are so far ahead its not fair to our fans and our university that we compensate a guy over $2 mil and his counterparts are far more better for the job..
What was Spurrier's record this year? How many more National Titles does he have than Saban?Forget the lame potshot at Fulmer . . . putting a coach who just went .500 and a guy who has never coached a down in the SEC in the same class as Meyer and Spurrier proves that you really do love mediocrity.

Petrino is FAR ahead of Fulmer in coaching, his offense will have Phil and the "Thief" scratching their @$$es and wondering what's going on just like Coach Steven Spurrier used to have them doing while he was at UF back in the day.
Saban - .500 but still beat Fulmer (that should really let you know what kind of coach we have). Ala was a high powered high school team this year, check the recruiting board and see where Mr. Saban is this year (#1 or 2 I believe) give him a few years and he'll have a power just like he had at LSU. He's already proven he can spank Philly w/ lesser talent.
As far as Petrino, you must have never watched his Louisville teams play, they actually try to light the scoreboard up, unlike Phil who tries to milk the clock. Give Bobby P. a few yrs and Ark will be far ahead of Phil
s Vols (if he is still around). Phil has proved time and again quality X & O guys are way ahead of him.
Surely you don't think Phil belongs in the top four in the SEC - if so, pls tell me what has he done in the last five years to earn that???
Trust me I don't wish any of the coaches I named success, but its obvious there very good at what they do, none of them are conservative. Phil coaches like a coach from the 70's, he's still got that Philisophy, the game is 20 or more years ahead of him.
Bobby Petrino will be lucky to last four years at Arkansas. Saban and Tuberville will use him as a pinata and he'll be lucky to play .500 against the other coaches in that division.
Petrino is a loser, pure and simple. The idiots in Fayettenam will be begging for the return of Houston Nutt within two years.I think it all depends on who he gets to run his defense. He will get some points with his style but just like the Visor learned, there is another side of the ball you have to prepare. Your hero Stoops was a huge reason the turds were so good in the 90's even though the media always seems to forget that.
Ok Mr Knowledge. Tell me just how many 10 win seasons Saban has? Why is his win % so much worse than CPF? Bobby P is also a good coach but why could he not go unbeaten in a very weak conf where he had more talent than any other school and it was not even close? Look man it is clear you don't like Fulmer, fine. But you cannot only look at what years you want to and judge a coaches career. You take it all or none.
Ok Mr Fulmer -
In the last 5 years who has been better, UT or LSU (Saban's team even though Miles has coached it the last three yrs). Had Saban stayed at LSU they'd won NC in '06 & potentially '07, he has as many SEC Titles as Fulmer in MUCH less time. LSU is so talented right now (thanks to Saban) that even Les Miles can win 10+ games in a season. I don't think Saban is a GREAT coach, he is a GREAT recruiter, solid coach, he is better than CPF (unfortunately for us). He beat your Philly w/ a high school team this year and beat a VERY VERY talented Phil team w/ a much lesser team in SECCG back in '01. Phil had best two DT's in the game of football on his team in '01 and still couldn't stop Saban's back-up QB.
Petrino - now he hasn't done a ton of things to prove himself and I may be wrong on the guy but from what I have seen and heard about him - he is very good on gameday, something our coach has known to struggle with at times. BP will out X and O you, PF will clap after his DB just got burnt for the 6th time that drive. I believe in three to four yrs BP will have a power at Ark, now SEC West is so competitive w/ LSU, Auburn, Ala & Ark thaqt no team will win 10-11 every year.
I give Phil credit where it is due, he was great in the 90's (but heck he had Manning, Shuler and others - who can't win w/ those type players). now he doesn't have superior talent and he's having to coach a bit and its showing. He's not done much lately (besides recruit well - thx to CTT). On the field the last 4-5 years Phil has been average. You can't judge a guy on what he did in 1942. The last five years is all that matters, if you go beyond that then your living in the past.
Were Saban and Tuberville handed fully loaded ready to go teams like Fulmer was? Not even close.TT has been coaching for more than ten years. Hows his all time record compare to CPF's? How many national titles does he have? I thought titles and wins are all that matter?
Also how many 10 plus win seasons has Saban had? How many undefeated seasons does he have?
