Team is shi*. Program is shi*. Athletic Dep't is shi*. Admin is shi*. For God's sake, they let an abysmal Vandy team come into Neyland, destroy them, and plant a damn flag on their field. This is rock bottom gents. It does not get worse than this. This is the worst team in school history and that is a long damn time. And the man who is supposed to lead us out of the abyss has NEVER hired a head football coach. Leach is the ceiling and I guess the pedophile cover upper is the floor. Hell, I'd take Norvell at this point as at least we'd be good on one side of the ball. Lastly, Shoop moved past Sunseri and Clawson as the worst coordinator in program history. What a joke.

Currie should have taken action after the GA blowout at home to get out in front of this disaster. Looking like Currie is behind the 8 ball on this one.

Agree except I could live with Mullen. Petersen would be a grand slam and Frost a homerun.

I have been a fan for 50 years. this season and the blowout lose at HOME to vandy is the lowest i have ever seen Tennessee football . The power brokers should be proud

What sucks is that most of them really don't care as long as the $$$ keeps rolling in.

I really don't think it's Leach or Schiano. Currie has been so secretive, I have a feeling it will be a curveball. I'm just glad this season is over. This team and coaching staff showed no fight. No heart. They got worse as the season went on in every aspect. This wasn't just the worst job of coaching in the history of Tennessee football... I would put this season 2nd only to Wade Houston as the worst coaching job in the history of this school.

Yup - never thought the 2011 and 2012 Dooley teams would be surpassed, but this was it. Unimaginable that this program with all its resources could not win ONE conference game.

His name has been out there a little. I could live with him as at least the pressers would be interesting (he is the anti-Butch in that regard).

They didn't care about 8 loses, any record, a new coach, season tickets or anything else tonight.. And they sure as hell didn't care about being a Volunteer or winning the game. :banghead2: Absolutely lousy. Saban couldn't have got this crew to win tonight,, but I'd be willing to bet if he was coach these last two weeks, at least half the happy bench riders and perpetually out of place on-field loafers would've been dismissed.. We have sh-t for a team.. less than 10 "players" and a bunch of people riding the pine for that scholly.:realmad:

We should NEVER, EVER get beat by VN. EVER! Then we get steamrolled. I wonder if these kids plan on being an alumni? As an Alumnus, we have Pride in our UT, and in everything we do. These guys seemed only concerned in clock management, or in not stopping it for any reason. In one way I can understand their lack of passion, which comes from the coaching staff. I always though Doofus would go down as our worst HC. I think botch may have that crown now. Our next HC has got a real job ahead of him and I want all of us here to give him our support- whoever he is. No one will please 100% of us. Keep your negative comments between your buddies and off here. Give him time to fail. Heaven forbid that won't happen, but it will take him some time after this debacle. How many Nick Saban's are out there. Did you see on the SEC Network today how many HC's have been hired since Saban started at AL? And I despise AL for it. He's made the SEC a lot worse for the rest of us. Look at how many wins we have against the SEC W. Our time is coming. Better Sooner than Later I say.

Well-said. This team had zero pride or self-respect. Vandy is god awful and they smoked us ... and then planted a flag in Neyland. Good riddance to the 22 seniors. Need a complete house cleaning at this point as it literally cannot get any worse. I think the new HC will at least need a 2-year grace period.
