The 28 Vanderbilt fans must be losing their minds

I think we may be staring at a down year in the SEC. I know it's early and an SEC team will more likely than not win the national title, but I don't think the bench is deep.

Missouri is smoke and mirrors.
I'm not sold on Old Miss at all and I still have doubts about Miss State as the season goes one.

Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and LSU are underperforming

Thoughts on upcoming polls and rankings.
I'll use the D1 poll

UCLA will remain #1 as they went 4-0 as they started Big10 play at Ohio State.
Texas will move to #2
LSU should plummet out of top 10 with 3 bad lasses and 1 "acceptable" on at Louisiana

Auburn may leapfrog to #3

Miss State 4
GaTech 5
Arkansas 6
Southern Miss 7 (would be 3 had they not los to Nicholls
Georgia 8
Oklahoma 9
Clemson 10
Wake Forest 11
NC State 12

After this, decisions will need to be made about LSU, North Carolina, and Florida after terrible weeks.

It's possibly schools like TCU, Oregon State, Tennessee, Florida State, Kentucky, and Texas A&M jump over all three.

Baseball America
(Remain calm)

Vols drop 2 spots as Wake Forest and USC leap frog us. They both have better records so. . .

Of course one of them is an ACC team

This is a strange D1 ranking
D1 03092026.jpeg

It's strange that so many teams at bottom of the list did not move yet they moved UVA up this month after beating a UNC Team on the road 2 of 3. It's not like UNC had a schedule that justified their prior ranking. UNC's best win is ECU but still went 1-1-1 on a weekend series. also, UVA's NonConf schedule was not stellar either. The Cavs best prior win was at Charlotte on Wednesday but they were shelled 14-0 nithing the night before.

UVA needed to be around 20-21 and NC about the same CCU, TCU, Oregon State, Tenn, FUS, UK and A&M moving up 1-2 spots. Moving UVA up that much because they beat another team that was ranked too high is a bit much.

Feels like D1 is "punishing" us for that Kent State series loss
