Yeah, I thought bray looked really good in ut's bowl game this year. He will surely be on an every heisman watch list after that performance in the post season. :birgits_giggle:
I won't argue with you there.
And you are basing that on what? Bray has looked great against weak teams and average, at best, against solid teams. You can chalk that up to a mediocre supporting cast if you want, but any definitive claim about Bray at this point should begin and end with "he has a lot of potential." Saying he's "A+" is nothing but homerism.
McCaron is terrible, throwing 5 yd dump screens look good when Trent is taking them to the house. McCarron had 16 tds and 5 int. Bray had those numbers by the 4th game of the season.
He kept the losing streak to UF intact but broke the winning streak vs UK. Amazing!:loco::rock::worship::worship::rock::loco:
What were his #s against Bama,LSU,USCjr and Arkie again? I hadn't heard those mentioned.

Well we are both happy because I would take AJ any day of the week as qb over a whiny qb who couldn't beat a ky team led by a wr.
I think Bama has a great qb on the bench in Phillip Sims, better than McCarron I believe. I know he has a better arm. I heard the kick was that he wasn't the most accurate, but that would come with more reps. I think McCarron has a year on Sims, and unless McCarron goes pro early he won't ever see the field and that is a waste of great talent. I'm ok with Bama playing McCarron over Sims though, because my blood runs ORANGE!:clapping:Bama needs a qb that can read run Defense, and can do a roll out pass. Their QB's are talented, but far from elite talent wise. They usually are pretty smart and know where the gaps are. They are not a group that can sit back in shot gun and do a 2 minute drill as far as I can tell. Bama is one of those schools that qb besides joe nameth generally is a team effort and the qb doesn't have to be amazing because the run game is.

Did UF challenge for the East?????How many games did they lose after the UT game??????Bray didn't complete 70% of his passes against a very young gator secondary.
Tyler Bray didn't complete 70% of his passes against the 4 SEC teams he faced. Injuries are part of the game. It's not my fault that he can't finish a season without getting broke. Matt Sims took the beating that Bray should've.
The book on him is incomplete because he hasn't to date faced a decent defensive team. His numbers are skewed.
BTW this thread was about Chris Low's ranking the SEC qb's for 2012 based on what they have accomplished so far.Because Tyler " I can only start 4 games a year" Bray was not ranked #1 it caused a lot of butthurt for you homers. If being a qb was all about hype and potential Jon Crompton and Ron Powlus(sp) would both have a Heisman..or twolol:

You trolls are ridiculous. The bottom line is Bray healthy this year throws for 3000 yds and 25tds minimum IMO...there's not a QB on your team that can do it bc your receivers look like kids at recess compaired to the NFL talent we line up this year. Butthurt hobos go cry on your own site. You couldn't upset these guys on VN...these folks been here long enough to not let opposing teams fans with too much freetime cause them any grief. With the exception of Bama none of your sissy schools want to see the Mighty Vols this fall.We will see if these SEC corners and safeties can man up when we go 3 or 4 wide...doubt it.

1. You obviously didn't watch the UT/UF game. You are discounting everything else that happened. Given the circumstances, Bray performed as good or better than any other QB in the league.
2. It is your fault when you refuse to take it in consideration.
3. Agreed. But as a QB Bray is better.
4. And what I am saying is McCarron has accomplished what he has because of the team he is on, not because of how gifted he is. Good for him, he fits the system he is in and has won a NC. That doesn't mean he is a better QB than Bray.
1. Watched that game.Bray had 2 or 3 more that should've been picks. The outcome was still a loss.
2.I'm just taking in consideration the games actually played in.Not some sheepy wishful thinking.
3.Purely speculation on your part. Not based on factual evidence.
4.Bray has accomplished what he has partly because the only atheletes you have are WRs. You have no legitimate RBs that can dictate a game. Put Bray in Bama's system and i guarantee his stats wouldn't be as high. He might not even see the field based on his maturity level and lack of leadership.
See how easy it is to speculate?
I didn't know should've's were kept in the stat book.
