RB should be a strength. However, if our oline sucks and we are not a passing threat, rb probably wont be very good either

When I see something that is debatable, and I like the story, I’ll put it here. I think there is a lot more things that we haven’t even covered yet that is still out there. Optimistic in this coaching staff, team, and Fulmer in 2018, you betcha. A lot of people/posters are 50/50 40/60 for the season, and I’m 80 to 90% positive that Pruitt can beat these teams like Smart, because I just don’t think Smart can beat him.:dance2:

Remember, we don't have a true power back on the roster right now. These guys were recruited for the zone read, horizontal outside the tackles, whatever the crap offense that Butch Jones ran. I think both Chandler and Jordan can be very good backs, but they're not really built to be between the tackles bruisers.

If London turns out to be a solid player, he and Chandler can compliment one another quite well. The other question is whether or not Banks will be a factor early.

What Pruitt wants is a true power back getting the workhorse carries and then mix in with a change of pace back.

London is being brought in for depth and a big body. He's a little lean but he's still a big guy with P5 experience. I'm not sure if Banks will see the field this year but it's the reason he was recruited.

IMO Chandler is not an every down back right now but with the right development he can be. As of now, he needs to be utilized in space and in the passing game. He has too much homerun ability to sit.

Jordan is a tweener in terms of style. I liked what I saw from him in the spring game and I think he/London will get those workhorse type of carries while Chandler will be utilized in space.

Got to remember we have running backs for the spread offense doesn’t fit the power running we want moving forward

I think there's potential at RB but very little starting or playing experience. Pruitt hasn't been impressed with the current RB's so far. London will be the most experienced once he arrives. My guess is London and Chandler are 1 and 2. Banks could have some say in that too. Think London starts and Chandler is #2, but it could be reversed. Just based off what Pruitt and Helton want in their RB, I'm going with London starting. They could get similar touch's, depending on how Banks looks. Then throw Jordan in the mix too.

We will have London and Banks once fall camp starts and they are the type RB's Pruitt and Helton want.

Believe it or not we are going
To run the same "scheme" zone blocking and it will probably be the simple version 0-1-2-3.... So the scheme won't be different but the style will...

Yeah, im not really concerned about the talent at that position. Im more worried about the things that effect its effectiveness, online, lack of a good pass game, d keeping the game close so we dont have to abandon the run.

Well this is standard anywhere. Have to have multiple threats to be an effective offense. You definitely cannot be one dimensional.

Travis Simpson worked out ok, no? Chandler will do just fine.
