2001 Miami should be # 1. Some argue that they're the best CFB team in modern era. I argue they're 2nd (95 Nebraska #1).

Only considering my 32 year old lifetime, I fully agree with this statement.

This ranking is statistically driven. His model only goes back to 2003. Teams before that are rated based on some kind of concatenation; one that appears to be flawed

when the NFL team 01 Canes werent at the top of the list and a team that was on probation was I knew the list was stupid.
That 01 canes team was so good you could put them in at 1, and their backups as the #2 team.
