Seriously? We can’t move up 10 spots? If we win out, and a lot of teams lose in front of us? Heck, I’ve seen teams move up 20 spots in just three weeks. It’ll probably never happen, but is it possible??

I love the optimism, but there's too many people ahead of us that play each other. Meaning their losses wouldn't look as bad as our losses to the committee.

We would have to have teams in front of us drop games to unranked teams to gain that much ground in 3 weeks.

Do you actually believe this team is one of the 12 best in the country? Just remove the orange glasses and put down the orange kool aid for a day and look at our performance this season.

It's just not our year. Even if it were to happen, may the Lord have mercy on us if we played one of the top 3 teams.

Look at the schedules for everyone above us. Even if Oklahoma loses they would still have a tie breaker over us. Is Ole Miss losing twice? Is Bama or Georgia or Texas losing twice? The committee was okay with taking 5 SEC teams for the playoffs. We’re out….

ACC - 3 teams with 1 loss; 2 more with 2.
B12 - BYU with 0 losses; TTU with 1; 3 more with 2.
B1G - 2 teams with 0 losses; Oregon with 1; 4 more with 2
Notre Dame with 2 losses
SEC - TAMU with 0 losses; 3 teams with 1 loss; 4 more with 2.
5 P5 schools with 1 loss; Memphis @ 8-1 is highest ranked right now.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens when we move to 9 SEC games and 10 P4 games total . I think we’re going to see a lot more 2 loss teams and even 3 loss teams in the CFP the next few years.

With due respect, it’s about the players mkt giving up. Heup pretty much summed it up last nt admitting their goal of chasing a championship was over.
