....who YOU'RE most excited about.

Mine,

1. Bryce Brown, RB
For obvious reasons, hopefully he lives up to the hype, athletically that is....

2. Darren Myles, S
I look for him to make an immediate impact with D-Mo's departure. The only knock on him, I think he need to muscle up just a little, but then again, not everyone can look line EB.

3. Nuke, WR
You got to love the fact that he spurned FL for the Vols, that alone is enough to be excited about him. His speed and shiftiness though, is the real reason I’m excited about him. If Lane can use him in the slot like we hope he can, look out. It would be nice if he put up some big numbers on 9/19/09.

4. Jerod Askew, LB
This guy might have been the most solid commit through the transition, so I have no doubt he's all VOL. With our lack of depth at LB, I wouldn’t be surprised if he started or was playing significant time before the UGA game.

5. Marlon Walls, LB
I've been excited about this guy ever since I heard him interviewed on 99.1 a couple years ago (after he first committed). He's sounded very respectful and is a physical specimen.

6. Janzen Jackson, CB
This kid was blown away when they took him to Neyland Stadium and turned the lights on for him (I read about this happening in some post commit recruiting article). His dad didn't get the job, and he faced a ton of instate pressure to go to LSU, YET he still picked the Vols.

7. Toney Williams, FB
He impressed me in the O/W game and he appears to be that bruising, short yardage/goal line back that we've missed the last few years.

8. Greg King, LB
When I saw him in person at the O/W game, he did not look like the 3 star commit the recruiting sites said he was. He's every bit of 6'-3" and if he has any kind of motor, he'll compete for ALL-SEC/American honors before his career is done. Don't be surprised if in a couple of years down the road, Askew, Hall, and King are all on the field at the same time.

9. David Oku, RB
I'll be honest, Oku was top 3 on my list before his de-commitment. I all but wrote him off because of his post signing day antics, but since he recommitted, I gave him a pass. I remember his interview when he committed, the first time, he was so excited to be a Vol, it pumped me up big time. Sadly though, with UT's depth at RB, it wouldn't surprise me if he redshirted.

10. Marsalis Teague, ATH
He's an instate kid and I like his attitude. I don't know where he'll play, but he's a great pick up where ever they put him. My guess he'll play at WR but with Crompton back there, who knows when he'll start to contribute.

While not an attempt to discredit Bryce Brown, I just wonder if he can bring his success from the greater Wichita athletic league into the SEC. I have watched alot of film of him and what I noticed was the quality of competition he played against. I do wish him all the best and I'll be watching with focused interest. He could very well be another Jamal Lewis.

1. B Brown
2. J Jackson
3. N Richardson
4. J Askew
5. M Walls
6. D Myles
7. D Oku
8. E Gordon - nothing wrong with a local boy who can play
9. J Green - I heard he has a lot of upside
10. J Schofield - simply for the fact that he's talented and we are short on OL talent.

He didn't have any problems in the Army game.

Good point. Like I said, it wasn't a knock on Bryce, just a thought to be considered. I think it plays to whether or not he can contribute early or not. I do not question his ability as a ball carrier, I do question how he will fare as a blocker in a pro-style offense.......very important facet of the Kiffin scheme.

I like Green a lot too.

I think Gordon will redshirt, obviously, you never know, but with Myles, Jackson, Edwards, and Tennessee's current depth at DB, someone from this class is going to have RS IMO.

Seeing brown live up to the pressure of being the best player in the land will make me extremely happy.

It's a legit concern but don't be surprised if you're met with some hostility on here for suggesting it...

There is an IDIOT on here who has started a couple of threads where he claims there is NO WAY Brown will ever amount to anything because he's not from Florida, Texas or California
