No way Fla finishes 3rd in East unless Tebow and Harvin both transfer to Carson Newman (that's about how likely that is). I sure hope they finish third but I just cannot see it.

My picks are

EAST
Fla
Ga
SC
Tenn
Ky
Vandy

WEST = I'll say the West will be as wacky as the East was this year, there will be alot of teams beating up on each other.

LSU
Auburn
Arkansas
Alabama
Ole Miss

East
Florida (might win it all next year, and then you have Tebow)
Tennessee (pending on early draft entries shoud have about 16 or 17 players with starting experiece)
Georgia (have a lot of freshmen playing key roles this year will help next year)
South Carolina (spurier is starting to get then talent he needs to compete in the SEC but still one year away IMO)
Vanderbilt (Vanderbilt whole season could be determined by Earl Bennets decision to go pro or stay could be the difference in a 2 to a 5 win season)
Kentucky (they just lose way to much to be a contender but i could be wrong if they get a good recruiting class)

West
LSU (always have a lot of talent and Perriloux will be a beast
Auburn (have alot of talent returning of a good team this year)
Alabama (could be a contender for the 2nd spot with Saban but i dont know if they got the talent yet)
Arkansas (although I despise petrino he will have them alright in a couple years but not this year losing Mcfaden)
Mississippi State (could be where arkansas is a much improved team)
Ole Miss (they should have never got rid of cutcliff)

Similar to this year when they were overwhelming pre-season favorites to win the SEC East? They lost 3 games this year. They aren't going to be worse, but they also aren't likely to be much better. The defense will improve a bit, but they still lose some play makers on defense and on offense.

Arkansas has as much chance of finishing ahead of Alabama next season as Baylor does of ending the season ahead of Texas in the Big XII South.

If no one leaves early, Tennessee should be better on both sides of the ball next year.

I cant believe you dont have us higher. We are going to be pretty loaded next year if everyone is back. Even if not, if we get a kick a$$ OC, look out! I know I'm biased, but give us SOME love! You guys need to have faith!!!

I think we'll be really good in some areas next year - if we get an OC that will let it all out then we'll have a good as shot as any for the East. The schedule is tough. I'm worried about our QB play next year, we'll need good QB play to beat Fla, @ Ga, Ala, @ Aub, @ SC. We could very well lose all five of those games if we play conservative. I can't see Phil doing better than 3-2 at best (those 5) and in most years 6-2 won't win the east. To be honest I say we go 2-3 in those five.

I predict 9-3 if we get the breaks in the close ones b/c you know Phil will play them close and you can't always win the close ones. If things go array and we get poor QB play then we're 7-5 and Music City here UT comes.

Georgia should be very talented next year, and they are going to bring in a great recruiting class. However, their schedule is brutal. @ LSU, @ USC, @ Auburn on top of playing us, Alabama, and Florida..... That would kill anyone. So I say we finish second behind Florida. Their offense is going to nasty. Basically everyone returns and they will have 5 star USC transfer Emmanuel Moody at RB.

I dont know why... Im just not sold on Florida being so good next year. Tebow and Harvin are great but their defense is going to have to get better or it's going to be 8 wins again for them.

East...

UGA.... Loaded.. lots of talent that wont be Fresmhen
Tennessee... Lots of returning starters. Still need playmakers.
Florida... Great offense... still need defense to win the SEC
USC... Good Defense returns but offense still stagnates
UK... they'll replace Woodson... coaching is solid... it's still the SEC-E
Vandy... They're still Vandy

West

LSU... Reloading... phenomenal talent. Losing Pelini will hurt
Auburn... Borgess gone... new look offense
Miss St. Solid Defense.... no continuity on offense
Bammer If they didnt have JPK, they'd be higher
Ar-Kansas Dmac,Nutt, O-line depletion... no way
Ole Miss Shoulda kept Cutcliff morons.

Fla will not finish 3rd next season in the East. They'll for sure beat Phillip (0-3 against Meyer) and Ga only beats them every blue moon.

The same players and coaches for the Vols that couldn't tackle Tebow/Fla this past fall will be the same ones out there next Sept scratching there hind-ends again wondering what went wrong. Next year Fla probably will go for over 600 yards against Chief and his crew.

I think we're 3rd at best in the East next year - very possible we'll finish fourth if Auburn, Ala & SC were to beat us.

If Crompton pans out, I say we win 10 games minimum. If not, 8 games. We will play much better against Florida and Bama. Georgia might beat us this time though. I'd say it is a tossup between us and UGA. But if we have a slump, we finish 3rd. I have a good feeling we will beat Tebow. Florida seemed overconfident after the UT game this year. They will remember 59-20. So will we.

Florida's defense was bad this year and will not be much better next year. They have a big problem with no talent on the d-line and at DB. Their only good d-linemen, harvey, will be going pro. I look for UT to put up big points next year to win a shootout in Knoxville: UT 44 UF 37

UT wins the East and the SEC, beating Auburn.

SEC East:

Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
USC
Vanderbilt
Kentucky

SEC West:

LSU
Auburn
Alabama
MSU
Arkansas
Ole Miss

I think Georgia is going to be tougher next year, Florida will win some games but Tebow will invaribly get nicked up/injured midseason and they will drop some games, plus I still don't think they will stop anyone credible with their defense. USC won't be a threat until Spurrier gets a QB that can execute. Welcome back to the cellar UK an Vandy.

In the West, I think that Periloux kid is better than Flynn, Auburn losing Cox might improve their offense. Alabama, Miss St. and Arkansas are all sort of in a dead heat IMO and Ole Piss will still suck unless McFadden and Jones forsake the NFL to follow their former coach there.
