Have to put Oregon somewhere on the list. UofO has put millions into designing a facility that can make a crowd of 55,000 sound like 110,000. After 2003's loss at Oregon, Lloyd Carr was quoted as saying it's the loudest game he's ever been in. This coming from a guy who plays at Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State every other year. The crowd of 59,000 that game was said to produce an on-field dB rating of 125 at multiple points during the game.

Living in Texas, I have been to Kyle Field (Texas A & M)several times. That crowd of approx 85,000 is twice as loud as Neyland, and they don't stop, no matter how badly they are getting beaten. I wish we were as intimidating as those people.

I disagree.. i went to blinn college a year ago which is right next to A&M, so i went to almost all the home games.. although i do love the traditions they have, it is not as loud as Neyland... nothing is as loud as Neyland is when its rockin...

The "U" is going to start playing at Dolphin Stadium in 2008. The OB is in absolutely atrocious shape now.
Yep. Ever since Venice Beach got cleaned up (relatively speaking), the "Ghetto by the beach" moniker has officially moved across the continent to the OB.
