Partially true !! Shannon wanted guarantee on Head Coach's job. He didn't want to move here and Dooley gets fired and he has to leave. There was no match number or so discussed but Hart refused to discuss Dooley's future. The words Hart has been saying all year around as per AD office people is "Lets see how the season plays out". Hart is a tough cookie.

The idiot AD was criticized because Kiffturd's buyout was so low. Therefore, he reacted and put BIG buyouts in Dooley's contract. The idiot AD did not act on anything while he was in charge of the destruction of UT athletics. He only reacted. His single accomplishment was to take women's athletics out of his own control or it, too, would have been destroyed.

I walked right by Randy Shannon when I went to the TCU/Iowa State Game a few weekends ago. He was coming out of the coordinators box. He is the line backers coach under Gary Patterson. I find it hard to believe he was actually up for the DC position at UT. Why on Earth would you choose LBers coach for TCU over DC at TN? Derek Dooley locked in on Sunseri and that was the ball game.
