I think we all know exactly who this is, and what this means, for the VolNation!!!

Did you catch any pics of Chavis at the airport today? Heard he flew in around noon.

Actually he was not at the Airport...Lovie handed him a parachute and pushed him out of the plane over UT Campus....

This is the only place in the world where you can find out that the number 1 team in the country has a DC that isn't worth a crap.
2 different defenses, with 2 different teams, have made it to the national championship under his watch, but he is garbage.

:hmm:

Nothing is pitiful about that defense. He's no different than any other coach. When they've got great players they usually have great teams.
Because they don't need him. They can win with anyone. They aren't outscheming anyone. In fact, their pass rush is downright pathetic for the quality of players they have.

Based on conversations today, it appears Clemson DC Kevin Steele remains a viable candidate for Vols after Orange Bowl blowout.

its one thing to bring information to VN from other sites but dont copy and paste then label it from "tos" specially when where you got this info is a paid site

Meaning... Kevin Steele is still interested and Clemson would be willing to let him go without much fuss?

Please, no.

Part of me whats this to be true, simply for the comedic value.

I do not like the idea of signing a coach for five years, especially with this regime on such shaky footing.

Another payout fiasco in the making.

You are assuming the regime is on shaky footing. Maybe in your own mind or the media's mind it is, but that is not what counts. People get all caught up in the fever of the moment and don't look at the big picture. The media likes to make money and lead everyone around by the nose. The regime is in Hart's hands and he is giving Dooley time to get some players to see if he can win. He has at least 2 more years unless some calamity happens. Like it or not, that is the way it is and how it should be.
