Bruce would be cheaper though and proven. Witch state has an easy schedule and while he is a good coach he would have to adjust to a major program.

Saying he's proven is a double-edged sword. Yes, he proved he could win at UT(could being a key word there), but he's also a proven idiot. Trying to cover-up a minor violation by committing a major violation is beyond moronic. If he was 5, I could understand, but he was a grown man. Fawk Bruce Pearl. Hart needs to grow a set, stand up to Cheek and the boosters, and go out and do what a good AD should be able to do. He needs to offer a competitive salary and sell UT to a coach that's shown he can win without being kicked out of the game for three years. I'm tired of all the "only Bruce can win here" bs. Dude had his chance and blew it. Time for new blood.
