I missed 4/5 of the game because I had to work longer than expected. Glad we won, and sort of glad I missed most of it...

Recruiting looks good, but you never know how the players will pan out. We, as have others, have been burned.

More than just getting great talent, a coaching staff needs to know how to develop and utilize it. Looks like Butch and Co. know how. Getting to a bowl with 20 true freshman playing is something else.

So, we've been playing 20 true freshmen every game, every down? I don't think that's the case.

The jury says Butch is guilty of being a great recruiter, but it hasn't reached a decision on his abilities as an X's and O's coach yet. Hopefully next season will shine a light on that.

Grand jury says next year we win the east

My main concern is that he has been too conservative with the Offense. So many potential game changing moments where it was 4th and 1 on their side of the field and he wouldn't go for it. Not throwing the ball down field till halfway through the 4th qtr against Missouri...

Of course, this comes from the guy that would refuse to have a punter on the team.:)

I didn't say it was 20 freshmen starting. I said it 20 true freshman playing, which is exactly what happened. I think it was 23 true freshman playing during the year, which was the most in the nation.

I know, LC. But, I'll bet that quite a few fans see it as we're playing almost all freshmen.
