You must be talking about the thread that the dude is defending the honor of every other SEC fan base. It is a doozy and I had to stick around in it to stir the pot. :)

The change of VolNation has been evident to me since the losing part happened and it sucks.. That's why I've always enjoyed the time in here. It was always real in the zone, I miss y'all..

I think the problem is that the UT sports sections hit a size where there's simply an overwhelming number of simple folks and dip****s as to make conversation impossible.

I think I started here in '05 or '06, things were great then. Haven't participated on main board in years.

That was a rough time. I felt Phil was done, and still believe the resignation/firing was the proper decision. Nobody in their right mind would've forseen the clown show that followed the firing.

SDV, not trying to make light of your grief, just had a weird random thought. Should you and your wife have a son, General Neyland would be a perfectly acceptable name in Cali. People would think his parents must be famous.

I wonder why famous people give their children such odd names? Moon Unit Zappa is still my all time favorite. I still don't understand Inspektor Pilot Lee.

It's kind of funny because non Zoners think we are all crazy azzholes. But I'd be willing to bet 95% of us were driven here but the FF stupidity. While we are crazy azzholes, we are the most level headed group sports wise on the site. If I didn't come to the Zone, I probably would have mostly lurked here. It sucks that this place has fallen like it has.

I recently started coming in here just becauseits eentertaining. I'm always up late and enjoy it.

Reality, we stopped giving a fawk, so you'll probably only get a dose of stfu and gtfo.

I may need to revisit my idea to get Freak to change the name of this place. I'm kinda liking "The Lama Lounge."

It has random spurts but it's about 1/50 of what it used to be. There are some classic threads burried in here somewhere. I'm always up late and it used to be a blast, we had a pretty good late night crew.

As Dalai Lama, my likes should equal two average likes. Someone please inform Freak. He's apparently not talking to me atm. I think he's jelli that I am the Dalai Lama and he is but a Grand Poobah. It's okay Freak. You are still the leader of VN. I just happen to be the leader of an entire religion. You can be Grand Pope if you want to, but given the scandals of the church, I'm not sure that is desirable.
