I drank a bottle and a half in two hours and then went out for tacos, ice cream, and beer. Work the next morning was painful.

Been listening to blues and Hendrix all night. Thinking about getting a guitar and seeing how good I can get. I remember Sly saying that he went to Woodstock. I wonder if he saw Jimi's set.

This must be the place. Yeah, of course we caught it. I tell most people I didn't go even though I lived only an hour away. If everyone who said they actual went did go, there would have been 10,000,000 people there. Caught Jimi the next year at the Atlanta Pops Festival while on vacation in Knoxville. A few of us drove down.

I haven't listened to him much, but after watching a few video clips, seems like they had two very different styles.
