See another doctor for a second opinion and do it before the time runs out. The school or their insurance are responsible. You might need to get an attorney involved. If the doc's still say you're too young you need to ask them when you'll be old enough and then have an attorney contact the school/insurance company to sign a form of responsibility for that time.

I've been meaning to go to another doc and see what my options are for a while. The only thing about the school paying for it is that they can't really prove that it happened on the field since I didn't lay down and ask for an ambulance. I know that it happened because I felt it, but some doctors have said that it was broken before and that just made it worse. Not sure how I got up and walked it off, but I did. Dumb move on my part.

Yeah he got kneed in the spine.

This is true. I'm just ready to get all of it over with. Everybody keeps telling me how scary and risky a surgery like this is. Screw it. Cut me open, take out the broken bones, and put some rods in there.
