i'm not into horse racing, but it'd be cool to see because it's so rare.

Unfortunately, I agree with CC's owner. When you have horses that only race in the Belmont Stakes, it's hard for a horse that's already run two races to beat those fresh legs.

They need to change the system IMO. Let the Triple Crown be about the best horse and let the field that runs in the Derby be the only horses allowed to run the other two as well. That way you have an even playing field and if the TC happens, it happens. Allowing a horse with fresh legs is like putting in a ringer.

F No. It should take a world class horse. If they've won the right to run at Belmont, go racing. Making it easier to win is fat girl in the Cavalry stupid.

The damn races are 2 or 3 weeks apart. Are you saying the horses that ran in the previous races didn't have plenty of rest to be fresh for the Belmont? Dude sounds like a looser excuse maker.
