Because it's further away from my heart/lungs and have been able to get medical treatment before it affects my breathing. Dr says that if I got stung on my face/torso I would be in trouble. He gave me a script for an epi pen. We have 2 of them.

My dad almost died of an anaphylactic reaction. We were out running and the city had sprayed some kind of pesticides in the swamp nearby that he had a reaction too.

It would be a little quicker. From any point on your body, it takes a little less than a minute for blood to circulate through your body. That would only be if you had a direct injection into a vein or artery. Would be a little slower if it had to be absorbed thru the capillary beds.

TEX, I tweaked my wrist @ the gym lifting last week. R.I.C.E. is not giving me any relief. Got any other suggestions to help?

Nice! I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me buy a 3 game package. She hasn't exactly said no, so there's still hope.
