Just got bad news that daughter lost baby. Time to circle the wagons.

Happened to me and Mrs DD with our first pregnancy. Then again (but at least early on) between our 1st and 2nd. It's a very hard thing to go through. Prayers sent.

Well, we held them 1-0 until the top of the 6th, pitcher just couldn't hold em any longer. We were 2 strikes away from the finals tomorrow. Lost 2-1. Worst part is that Leighton was the 2nd batter in the bottom of the 6th. He swung the bat with a bad elbow even though it hurt him so bad he cried. Just couldn't do it. After the game, he was as upset as he has ever been. All he could say was "I let my team down dad". That's a hard pill for any parent to swollow.

Amazing he ever even had that opportunity. An awesome opportunity to have made it so far. It's hard to know just how sweet life is until you've tasted the other side. Always sucks to watch your kids go through that though.
