Ferguson will red shirt. Only reason he was ranked lower than Dobbs is because of injuries.

This is my thinking and hope as far as the redshirt. Peterman starts next year and the year after, then Riley takes over his rs junior year. Dobbs doesn't ever get much burn, causing a meltdown on the bandwagon.

Fergie gets the reigns a year sooner, IMO.

I was thinking this. but if Peterman takes over midway through this season then starts next year, will be hard to over take a senior with a year and a half of starts. I think they will work him in some his sophomore year, then start junior year. IMO

Happens every time there is a Zonetard call-to-arms. Collusion.

Yeah read above...
But this is funny

Tennessee junior Justin Worley will be the starting quarterback for Saturday's season opener against Austin Peay, a source told ESPN.

Worley won a four-way battle with redshirt freshman Nathan Peterman and true freshmen Riley Ferguson and Josh Dobbs.

Worley was the Volunteers' only quarterback with game experience, having backed up former starter Tyler Bray. In the past two seasons, Worley appeared in nine games, completing 63 of 110 passes for 738 yards, one touchdown and five interceptions.

Awaiting the 6-foot-4, 222-pound Worley will be one of the nation's toughest schedules.

After opening with home games against Austin Peay and Western Kentucky, the Vols play five of their next six games against top-10 ranked opponents: at No. 3 Oregon, at No. 10 Florida, vs. No. 5 Georgia, vs. No. 6 South Carolina and at No. 1 Alabama.

5 I N T's is that correct ?? I know we got blazed on the road by the Arky motorcycle riders. But in his limited play that's an amazing stat!
