When I was younger, my sister and I were left unattended in Captain D's for 5 minutes, and when my mom came back, we had cleaned the table off with the massive bottle of vinegar.

We used to get them to give us "crispies," which were the fried bits of batter that fell off of the fish. Absolutely disgusting to think about now, but we loved them.

When I think of hush puppies, I think of fried catfish. I'd be willing to give it a try though.

That's how I usually eat them, too (twss), but Buddy's makes it work.

The ones in Memphis don't. lol. I haven't been to one in so long here. The closest one to me closed down.

I don't eat fast food very often, but when I do, it's sonic, whataburger or Taco Bell.


I've actually never eaten at Cpt. D's but it makes me think of long John silvers. And that shiz is disgusting!
