Still alot of standing water and the rivers and creeks are high around here. No flooding yet though.
 
Same. You can't even see some people's yards. Our koi pond is overflowing. Well, our warmouth, bass and catfish pond I should say. The koi didn't last.
 
Looking like we may get another round of rain this afternoon till in the morning. I know we need it, Just not all at one time....
 
Interesting, never heard of it before.

I don't know a lot about them honestly. I just know they have really red gills. It's not a huge pond by any means. We mainly put fish that are too little to filet in there. We used to have a bass that would follow you around the edge. He'd flick the water at you. Total jerk.

I didn't know there was such a thing?:)

I filet just about anything I keep. Even the small bream. They make great fish nuggets.
 
I don't eat fish at all. That's all hubs. I just like catching or shooting them.

My wife doesn't eat fish either. Nat did when she was a baby, but then she started getting sick every time she ate it. Dr said she had developed an allergic reaction to it. My son will eat fish sticks and popcorn shrimp. I'm hoping he'll turn into a seafood/fish eater.
 
tuna out of a can. no carbs & high protein. If you are lifting weights it is pretty much the perfect snack you can eat on the go, especially if you are cutting carbs

If someone opens a can of tuna around me I will throw up. My cubemate warns me if he has tuna salad for lunch so I know to leave.

I love it in the summer time when I have fresh jlaps in the garden. Add just a touch of mustard, mayo, jlaps, and pickles. Usually eat it with spinach.
