That's twice I've been lucky the past two weeks. Last week, some ice formed on the pavement right at my front car door. This happened while I was shopping. When I threw my right leg up to get in the car, the left foot slid out from underneath me. It was like a cartoon. Foot slid, back hit the door frame, then body slid down the frame just before the ass busted the pavement.

I had a similar argument yesterday. Some dude was trying to tell me my F-150 could handle the ice better than his Civic.

Yeah, ice pretty much doesn't know the difference. Studs or chains are required if things are really iced over. I remember one ice storm in Knoxville, must have been early to mid 80's, that nothing moved. Cops or emergency folks caught totally unprepared and couldn't drive their vehicles. I ice skated on my street.
