Enjoy that sun, son. Sorry about the circumstances but enjoy. Weird that someone is terrified of the I State there. They would have a stroke here or in So CAl.

So Cal is in its own category, especially near downtown L.A. Seattle is awful as well.

You lucky sob. I may have to head out that way in a couple of weeks. I may buy me a cj7, but I may still go out there if I can afford it.

Btw, how did your Sliver Sneakers class go at the gym?

Odd that you know Silver Sneakers. I do use the pass that makes it free wherever I want to go. Those classes they have are geared towards people who don't ordinarily do anything. I usually hit the gym and shoot hoops with the high school kids for about 20-30 minutes. Then, the treadmill @ 5 mph for roughly 3 miles. Then, jog on the track for another couple of miles. Hit the weight room for another 30 minutes and then the pool for 20 or so. Finish up with a relaxing 15-20 minutes in the sauna. Silver Sneakers doesn't offer any of that for me but I am a card carrying member.

All you had to say was s curves right side.

I build stuff for money.
I live in hidden harbor fwiw.

I know some TVA guys who live in the soddy area. Thought you might be one of them.

There are a lot of them that live around you as well. I was just being a smart azz about the address.

Best way to navigate LA is to stay on the 10 until you hit Santa Monica Beach. While I lived in the area, I think I went to LA maybe 2-3 times in 10 years. Not really anything there for me.

Silver Sneakers was a lucky guess, but I thought you might be one of those old people in the pool with a noodle and arm floats doing water aerobics. :)

But seriously, I would probably die of a heart attack if I were to do your workout right now.

I would normally stay on the 5 to the 405 and then to the 101. The last time I sat for 45 minutes right by the county jail downtown. I hate driving through L.A. But I like to get to the PCH as quickly as possible anytime I am in Cali.

It's really amazing the people who go there. Age bracket is anywhere between 14 and about 90. There are young people in the weight room with a note pad listing their pump up cycles and there are a few that I would guess in their 80's, maybe 90's, that can't do much but are still there working the body. The ones that always get me, and I see them 3 times a week, are a couple in their late 20's or early 30's. They bring someone, who I suspect is the father of one of them, on those days. He's in a wheel chair. They carry him up the two short flights to the track. Then, they take turns walking him around the track for about 30 minutes. They take turns doing it. They stand behind him, grasp him around the chest from behind and go at a very slow pace. It's amazing and it always grabs at my heart to see them doing it. He'll never walk on his own, but they help him to realize something that he will never be able to do on his own.

Might make it quicker taking Foothills (old Route 66) or Pomona Freeway then driving up to LA. Depends on the time of day and day of the week. Worst mess I've been in on a regular basis is the 210 going East just before Pasadena. Horrible traffic.

And u wonder y u never get to plunge in the poon

meh, i just dont think i should have to do stuff she's perfectly capable of doing herself just to do something we're both getting something out of.

but i'm never home when she's home though. i see her on mondays and tuesdays.
