Honestly it's pretty fun. I met Bruce Campbell one year, met Norman Reedus this past year. Both cool guys. Plus the geek after party is always interesting.

My inner geek is really showing. But Evil Dead the Musical was pretty awesome. And they have a thing up here every year called the zombie walk, couple thousand people dressed up walking down the main road in the highlands. Which is sort of like a mini gatlinburg, with a ton of bars and little shops. Crazy thing is they don't block the street, so cars are driving down the road. And the street is filled with zombies. I'm sure people from out of town are like WTF.

I'm just not geeky enough for that anymore. I still enjoy some science fiction and fantasy stuff, but I'd much rather sit in a bar, watch sports, of chase women. I'm just not very good at the woman chasing part. :)

That being said, if I ever have another kid and it's a boy, he's going to have a room full of Star Wars toys to go with his Braves, Packers, and Vols gear.

Also, mothereffin Legos.

Well if you are a good looking guy the girl chasing part is easy at these events. With all the geeky fan boys around, I look like Brad Pitt. Lol I like to diversify my girl chasing spots.

Have to know your audience though. I'm much more interested in sitting in a bar or getting out and doing something outdoor-sy these days than doing a LOTR/Star Wars marathon. Not likely to find that kinda girl at such places. :)

I have never watched LOTR, the previews never interested me. Not that much of a star wars guy either. I am a horror movie geek though. I just have to alternate bars a lot, when you have 3 or 4 crazies in one bar it's time to switch. And the comic con girls are always a new batch. :)

Grizz....Notre Dame finished undefeated. So they will plat the winner of UGA and Bama for the NC.


Poor ole gators got left out in da cold. But we de get a slice of their bowl money...which is mighty nice of them
