I agree with this, but believe his being a pussy goes back further. He let Fulmer hang on too long when it was clear the game had passed him by. I appreciate Fulmer's accomplishments, but pride and Hammy kept him too long.

I don't think he or the boosters gave Fulmer the support system he needed. I think they left him twisting in the wind and then hung him out to dry getting themselves off the hook.

Fulmer got lazy on the recruiting trail, talent level dropped and we started sucking slowly but surely. Jmo

Not me. He needs to stay in the hole he dug. I'd take no coach over DD right now. Hope they make a great hire. If they don't, they might see something they never could have imagined.

Naw, I say..let the players call the plays in the Kentucky game just to see the outcome. They can draw up their own plays just like we did playing sandlot. Seriously. Give them their heads in this one game. Ban all the coaches from the sidelines. Put headphones on the backups and a few of them in the press box. Couldn't be any worse.

Worked for the Utes a few years ago, too. It was a game played during a snowstorm. They couldn't see the coaches on the sidelines, or so they said. They were pissed with the play calling so called their own plays. Afterwards, told everyone they could not see what the coaches were calling on the sidelines. And, won the game.

I like it. Of course I'm a pointguard so just calling plays I like best is pretty normal to me.

Last night was the first time I turned off a vols game. It was late and we played like garbage, I just couldnt bare to watch the fourth quarter. How tragic. My wait to see us play in a bowl extends another year.
