Especially when the tornadoes come through. I watched an amazing one from the East end of Ray Hubbard lake one evening. I was coming back from Knoxville and a couple of tornadoes were passing around Dallas.

I posted a pic on here a while back of a huge thunderhead on my way back from ruidoso that was going over Lubbock. You remember that?

It was one of those night that you had to be there. Unable to describe. This joint had everything from beat up pick up trucks to Jaguars parked outside. Inside, they played anything from disco to the twangiest country possible. Weird place. Strippers came in from Dallas.

Lot of good boating and fishing places around that area. Most don't think about that unless they visit or pass through. A few good sized lakes. They get some big ass white caps when the wind blows in the summer.

I've never been on that lake. Use to fish a lot on fresh water until I went deep sea fishing. Fuuu fresh water! Lulz

I can agree regarding Texas especially. Got some weird fish in the fresh water including that damn alligator gar thing. Outfitting a boat for salt water is expensive. We used to take mine to the flats around Padre Island some. It was small so we never took it out far. I've been deep sea fishing off the coast of CT and Mass when I lived up there and a few times South of San Diego. It's definitely fun times.
