Made a 90 on the pre admission test for TSU's nursing program today.




And now I will reward myself by writing a paper and studying for two tests...

I dunno if all grad schools are the same way, but UT engineering basically only cared about the math score, and it was just a minimum threshold to be considered for acceptance. The rest of your resume and interview has a much stronger bearing on your acceptance than the GRE.

The coordinator emailed me back and basically there only 18 positions available out of some 90 applicants. They have a min and I'm barely under it. I have everything else nailed I just suck at testing. But I'm gonna try.

What grad program you looking at?

I'm interested in being an academic advisor at the college level. UT has a degree and I've been wanting to go there for a while. I don't have to get a masters but a lot of universities like to see it when hiring.

Realistically I'll probably end up somewhere like Trevecca Nazarene or another division 2 local school. I want to play at the University of Illinois-Chicago or Southern Illinois.
