i've been pretty good. every raise i get 1/2 goes into the 401k. now i think the woman will get 1/2 when we finally call it quits.

I work with a woman who has put in almost 35 years and still can't retire, because they have raised the age several times. Just dumb.

There is a point system, but generally you have to be 55 to get full retirement. When she started it was based on years put in based on my understanding. I just feel for her, because she started straight out of high school and still has time to go.
