I've never been a tuner guy but my friends that are say custom tunes are the way to go now from guys like black bear or something. Also Diablo is supposed to be a good one for self programming.
That was about 10 years ago. I used it on a Camaro Z. This one was automatic. I could change the shift points and eliminate the top end cut off. Top end on those things was preset at 160 mph. Also, change the high end of the rpm's. That's all I needed. I'd guess tech has changed enormously in the past 13 years.
That's all I meant. Hypertech was it back in the day now there are all these crazy other options.
Yeah, I knew. In the old days with aspirated engines, hp cost a ton of money and labor. Now, plug in a chip and Boom, 200 more horses. But the engines weren't built for it so it's only a matter of time before they melt.

Why does it do that?its amazing what you can do to a car with the new programmers. I can read and reset engine codes just like a mechanic. You can tune every little thing these days.
One of the coolest things about this car, is when you open the door, the window goes down about 1/4 inch and when you close the door it rolls back up.
