Andy Griffith is the greatest sitcom of all time IMO.

No doubt. Iconic and timeless too.

anybody remember the story about the dude that got busted on the no whammy's daytime tv game? He set the $ record by thousands of dollars, but they found out he had been at home with a bunch of tv's and studied months of tape and found a pattern. He didn't whammy, iirc.

Hard to pick favorites. There've been lots of great sitcoms going back to the days of I Love Lucy. When I was a kid, I loved Gilligan's Island.The Munsters and The Addams Family were great too.

Hard to believe I love Lucy wasn't already mentioned multiple times.
