I periodically dropped in, but used to watch every single sat night in the 90's. I watch Armisen's other show a lot. Funny dude.

It's drug along for way too long. Think it could be better if they revamped things a little bit. Get rid of weekend update and cut down on the live music and actually have more sketches. Too many recurring characters that suck.

SNL actually died in the late 70's. It was on life support for another 10 years or so. Should have pulled the plug in the mid 80's at the latest.

I have the some of the old ones on dvd. Most of the 90's was pretty good, imo.

I think it might be an age thing and what's relevant to each person. Wasn't relevant to me after the 80's began. It's impossible to beat the core group that started and the few that came along in the next couple of years.
