if you like to feed the birds you have to put out a hummingbird feeder


I'm sad for you guys not seeing lightning bugs it's one of my favorite things to see in the spring/summer. Have to catch some every year too with the kids. then let them go.

We used to catch them when we were kids. Great memory. I do need to get a good feeder for the hummingbirds and start making some sugar food for them I had plenty in Utah.

Lightening bugs are awesome. I also have a new fondness for pelicans today.

I like trying to catch em when it's almost too dark to see them. You run to where you think they'll be and wait. They light up again and become free flashlights.

I was going to see them in the smokies a few summers ago and we got rained out, and by rain I mean winds that destroyed the hotel across from the wears valley road light. The night shoulda been my hint about that relationship.
