Correct me if I'm wrong and I'm not trying to be an azz but I think the track length was shortened. It was a quarter mile which was 1320 ft and now is 1000 ft. This happened after Scott Kalitta's accident.

Top Fuel and Funny Car run 1000ft. The rest of the pro classes run 1/4 mile.
