I had a great dial up in Oak Ridge when I lived here 6-7 years ago. I was amazed at the speed and reliability.

You should never use the words speed, reliability, and dialup in the same sentence.

My Linksys router kept dropping off line....updated the firmware for it and saw a major imrpovement. Worth trying.

I sort of wondered that about Nerd's router. Maybe an upgrade or just flash it.

I'm serious. It was amazing. Maybe because it was Oak Ridge. Also, the only place I've lived where the garbage man would come up the drive way to the garage and get my trash.

Oak Ridge has phone lines and homes from the 40s. I just don't see it.

Got rid of IE10 today and reverted back to IE9 without any help from you IT experts. Runs like a dream now.

But, due to what goes on there, I'm guessing the infrastructure is state of the art in all other areas.

City of Oak Ridge is dying. Terrible management. All of the DOE facilities exist outside of the city as well.
