Sly, don't know if you seen where I posted it or not but the mosquito traps are bogus. Total waste of time.

Did you try and tap the starter with a hammer? This may allow it to start up and save you a tow.

No. I scares me to even get under this thing. I'll never buy another vehicle that I can't just get under. The tow is free. I have AAA road service. When I get through with the getting turned down for a driver's license tomorrow:cray:, I will get back under it and try that. I completely forgot about that. Haven't had any car problems in a long time.

AAA is good. I have been robbed in the past with tow charges so I thought I would suggest it. Won't hurt if you can reach it.

My problem is finding the damn thing. When I get under the front, I think I see it but my close vision sucks and I'm not sure. I'm gonna hammer what I see anyway. I did a search on Google for the starter location with no results to help me. I'll try again tomorrow afternoon. It was running fine, parked it one night and the next day when I went to start it...absolutely nothing. No click or anything. Battery checks out good. Has to be the starter, starter cable or ignition switch. Can't think of any other possibilities. Thanks, Blu. Beer should be here next month.

That is the best news I've heard in a while. Tell your friends to have a safe trip. What year is your buick?

Could be a relay or a solenoid. Start with cheap answers first.

I replaced all the relays associated with it plus a new fuse. Could be the solenoid but I'd have to be able to find it and remove to do anything with that. It's insured, maybe a strange fire could happen.

Ill make sure your Buick burns if my house catches fire while I'm at work

Sly I have looked all over and nothing tells me where the starter is located on your car. My best guess is under the plastic top cover near the manifold. The only diagram I could find was pathetic, but it looked like it was right next to a spark plug and possibly on the right side of the motor. I don't think you would need to reach it under the car.
