Speaking of, I need to get some electrical tape and wire cutters tomorrow. I gotta quit giving my tools away every time I move.

I've owned 100 pair of wire strippers. I think I end up having to buy some every time I do.interior electrical work.

I've owned 100 pair of wire strippers. I think I end up having to buy some every time I do.interior electrical work.

For me, it's one of those things I hardly use so I buy and either lose them or give them away. Oh, well. Let the tool accumulating begin.

My brother probably has a bunch because I give him all my tools when I moved to Utah. It was a good move because now I'm borrowing them back.

I used to buy Klein's for work, but losing a $40 pair of 9's into 4' of silt and muck in a manhole will drive a guy to Kobalts lol.

Tell 'em you need some new 9" Klein side cutters and send 'em over to me. Had mine about 15 years and there's a gap in the middle of the cutting edge.

For stuff I use rarely I've started getting the harbor freight specials and not worrying. For the little I use some tools they've worked well.

You really can't go wrong, unless you're using the stuff regularly. I've gotten to where I just assume my laborers will lose everything in my box eventually, so I go cheap.

I have one of those Cresent tool sets for my helpers to use. They lose too much stuff to use my good stuff. Helpers always take better care of their stuff when they pass their test and become a mechanic. Makes a big difference when they have to buy their own ****.
