It really doesn't. You will probably be way more content when you get in your 30s, there are just more times when you will understand proceeding with extreme caution in almost every decision you make. Some of my friends get pissed at me because I am constantly the one squashing plans that just have terrible life decision written all over them.

But, you are also not as crazy and wild. You are more balanced in your reactions or lack of reaction to situations that require those traits. You will actually know more but it will feel more like you know nothing at all sometimes, and you'll be ok with that.

When you're young, you think you know everything. As you get older, you realize just how little you really know.

I see. I like life, but some days I want to stay home and watch tapes of the 1998 national championship Vols.

If you even have the singular joy that is being unemployed by a lay off, or someone screws you over on a job opportunity, then you will probably not want to just sit around ever again.

Good point. That hasn't exactly happened to me yet, though I've felt similar pain.

Life gets easier as you mature. Unfortunately, getting older does not guarantee that you become more mature.

But then there is a point after you reach a certain maturity, where if life is too easy you are doing it wrong.

I think more people need to step outside their comfort zone and do more to help take care of others, make this world a better place for the next generation. You need to step away from "easy" and make a difference in the lives of others.

1) Foster Care
2) Boys and Girls Club
3) The United Way
4) Coach youth sports
d) Etc.
