I think it's a little bit of squeaky wheel syndrome also. The extreme views always make the most noise and draw the most responses.
It's like when I log onto macrumors and read about all of the iPhone issues people are dealing with. You would think everyone has problems but it's really a small vocal minority.
Moderating can be a much bigger pain in the ass sometimes than you might imagine. I'm grateful for the solid people I've had helping out through the years.
**** Sly, how'd you even find the internet![]()
Not too mention it's a phone to begin with and there's no need to freak out.
Sorry, I have a weird thing against Apple.
Yeah, it's the same here but some don't realize it. It's the very small minority that gets on some nerves. All in all, most posters are cool. But, you always take notice of the loud ones and it appears to skew the balance sometimes.
Son, I was on the internet before you were born. I've tinkered with computers since the '80's so I'm not like many older people. When they flung the gates of Hell (internet) open in the early 90's, I was ready for it. The internet has been around for ages but it was pretty much a government function only until Windows came on the scene.
I'm an admitted Apple fan boy, but I also have an Android and can see benefits of each. That said, some people on that forum are nuts. They take their phones into dark closets with the brightness turned all the way up to check for light leaks. I'm mean, how real world is that? Who cares?

Yessir. But only because my wife had an upgrade and was happy with my hand-me-down 4S.
Agree. And the loud ones are often hard to ignore.
I still haven't ignored anyone. I do use the scroll button a fair amount.
Apple has always bugged me with their "No, really, we are like a small company" even though they continue to put the same **** out there over and over again and just gobble as much money as possible.
I don't blame them. Also, the love for them just bugs me.

I've never had anyone on ignore. I, too, know what to expect and scroll past it. Some people have an agenda and that's the way they're going to always be. I usually don't respond to their post, but sometimes, I will in a nice way that is a back door slap in the face.
People just take it too seriously. You see an idiot or two, and then boom, you just let off.
And people like drama. For example, if I did a football post explaining UT's problems on defense with stats, videos, and quotes, I'll get maybe 30 replies. If I start a "Dooley is the worst UT coach since Harvey Robinson" I'll get 300 replies.
