Congrats to your Dad. Warrant Officers were pretty highly specialized at that time.
He was an artillary spotter in the big one flying a piper cub. When he went to helicopters he was already a captain. Retired as a Lt. Colonel and was asked to come back to run an air base in Viet Nam and he said yes. That's another crazy story.
Why? The few I've been to aren't actually riverboats. They're attached to the land. But, that was some years back.
there are 2 in Shreveport that are actually boats. The chief told me they could have it ready to move in less than 6 hours. It really doesnt matter though, when the Margarritaville Hotel, Casino and Resort is finished its gonna put a bunch of them out of business.
