It's a possibility to create an atmosphere on mars. Big emphasize on possibility, but if you don't do things like this, you'll never know.

Just think if the Spanish had thought the same thing years ago............there are plenty of things we have gotten from NASA research and as a direct result of space travel. I have no doubt that we will have something from the research on Mars.

So we can send a rover to another planet to send back data, but Wal-mart can never have more than a few checkout lanes open? #mankindfail

I would agree, if we weren't so far in debt. I just think there's better things we could use China's money for, on earth. Now if we had a surplus of money, I would be all for it. Heck, I would even like to go myself.

Not looking to the past, but the mistakes and successes we have had in the past help us in the future. Thinking that we cant live on Mars is about as silly as the people who thought the world was flat. The only way you figure these things out is by exploration and searching for these answers.
