Got two deer within 10-15 feet of where I'm sitting and drinking a cold beer! Pretty cool!

I always put out a couple of those black "cow molasses" barrels too. I fill them with water every week. I have seen a time when a deer would come by and get a drink and not even eat anything. It is normally very dry here until around mid August so they dont have alot of water.

I've never tried one oh those. Where do you find them at, and how much?

I have cows so whenever they clean one out I use those, if you have any farming buddies they should have a few of them laying around.

I normally wait until the last of August to start feeding, that is normally when their horns start getting hard. This year it looks like the horns are hard already so i am gonna start a little earlier.

looks like corn is gonna be alot higher than it was last year.

That's weird. My horns have been getting hard early as well.
